The ground-breaking ceremony for the new building of our branch and headquarters in Salzburg took place yesterday.

Our two managing directors Thomas Kumposcht and Mag. Gregor Klopf as well as representatives of the construction company Hillebrand took the shovel into their own hands. The new building will have a larger workshop as well as spacious recreation areas and is scheduled for completion in about one year.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the new building of our branch and headquarters in Salzburg took place on 3 August. The two managing directors of maltech Arbeitsbühnen GmbH, Thomas Kumposcht and Mag. Gregor Klopf, as well as the owner of the construction company Hillebrand, Bernd Hillebrand, together with the responsible project managers Alexander Fichtner and Hannes Götzinger, took the shovel into their own hands. In addition to expanding the workshop by 330 m², the office space will also be extended with spacious new recreation areas for the employees. A total area of about 4,500 m² will be newly built on.

The two maltech managing directors are pleased that the opportunity for expansion at the site has arisen. Managing Director Thomas Kumposcht: "The fact that we can stay here is positive for both our employees and our customers. The conditions are ideal, as the motorway ramp is in the immediate vicinity and we now have enough space available. We simply feel at home here."

After completion and with an investment of almost 4 million Euro, an operating area of almost 9,000 m² will be available for the rental and maintenance of the work platforms and forklifts.

"The growth we experienced in the last years made it urgently necessary to expand the workshop area, the office space as well as the social rooms. Initially, we considered converting the existing Englmayer forwarding agency building, but during the planning phase we realised very quickly that a demolition of the building and a complete redesign were necessary to ensure an optimal working situation for our employees."
